INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a Japan Client Services Manager to lead client relationships for a fast-growing marketing agency expanding its business in Japan.
This role is responsible for managing key client relationships, supporting regional client service functions, and driving account growth through renewals and additional service opportunities.
Reporting to the Head of Client Services, you will play a central role in establishing and growing the Japan business while ensuring high-quality service delivery for clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage client relationships in Japan
- Support regional client service functions
- Drive annual client renewals and commercial relationship growth
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts through additional services
- Understand and articulate the company’s product and service offering
- Manage onboarding for new clients
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery for clients
- Respond quickly and flexibly to client requests
- Ensure services remain within scope and aligned with commercial guidelines
- Support the launch and growth of the Japan business
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong command of both English and Japanese
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
- Knowledge of the media, PR or marketing industry is a plus
- Management experience is a plus
- 4–10 years of experience in a similar client-facing role
- Experience managing client relationships
