INTRODUCTION
We are looking for an Assistant Manager, FP&A to support financial planning and business performance for a leading fashion retail company.
In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive financial forecasting, sales and gross margin analysis, and strategic decision-making. You will play a key role in supporting business growth through insightful financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze Net Sales and COGS against budget and forecast
- Identify business trends and explain financial variances
- Manage monthly sales and gross margin forecasting
- Partner with commercial leaders on business planning
- Prepare proforma P&L analysis for capital investment projects
- Collaborate with Business Development teams
- Work closely with cross-functional departments
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
REQUIREMENTS
- 3–5 years of experience in finance or FP&A
- Retail industry experience is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills
- Business level Japanese and English
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Interest in business and commercial activities
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
